Potential County Athletes' Registration Scheme
This scheme enables prospective County Athletes to register their own details into the ESAA online system so that County Team Managers have the correct spelling of athletes' names, with up to date PBs and the name and location of their school so that they can very quickly enter selected athletes into the National Track & Field Championships without having to type everything themselves.

The scheme is only for those athletes who are likely to be considered for selection for a County Schools Athletics Team to go to the ESAA National Track & Field Championships.

By registering yourself online, if you are selected for the County Team you will ensure that your name is spelled correctly in the event programme, in the results, on tee-shirts, and on the scoreboard. It is thus very much in your own interest to register your details accurately!

Coaches / teachers are requested NOT to register athletes on their behalf - the whole point of this scheme is for athletes or those in parental control to take responsibity for spelling their names correctly.

Please do not register if you are not in the top 4 or 5 in your County in the event(s) you prefer.

Registration is a two stage process:

Stage 1: Register Your Details
hopefully your PBs will improve during the weeks up to
the County Team selection final deadline on 20th June, so...

Stage 2:

Login to Update PBs

General Data Protection Regulation Information

Because this registration collects the personal data of athletes, no-one else other than the athlete, or a person in parental control over them, can give permission for their data to be collected and processed into this system. Only continue here if you are an athlete or their guardian.

If you are a teacher, club coach, or similar interested person, please do not register anyone here.

We ask you to supply your name, sex, approximate date of birth (month and year only), school, your school's location, and up to 3 events with your current season PB. You also have the option to supply additional information such as your athletics club or anything else you might wish the commentators to know about you.

Your details will be stored securely online using the facilities of the ESAA website host's own website at www.sendentry.com and will be made available only to the following people:

  • County Team selectors for your own County only
  • The ESAA website administrator
Your sex and date of birth month/year will only be used to allocate you into the correct Junior/Inter/Senior age group. It will not be passed on to anyone else.

If selected for your County Team, your Name, Event PB, County, and School details will be used to enter you into the National Championships in the event you've been selected for. Your data will be passed into the ESAA event administration system and it may then be passed on to local media in your County so that they can report on your achievements in the Championships. Your Name and County will be used in other publications related to the Championships, such as the event programme, tee-shirts, scoreboard, results, and other media.

You do not need to give your permission for the ESAA to process your data like this because your data is covered by the legitimate interest legal basis which enables the ESAA to use your data because it is necessary in order for them to administer and run the Championships, and because you'd reasonably expect them to need your data to do that - it would be a very strange competition if nobody knew who was competing in each event!

If you are not selected for your County Team, nothing further will be done with the data you give here.

The data you give here will be deleted from this registration system shortly after the National Championships, before the end of July. It will not be used for any other purpose.

If you are still eligible for selection next year, you will need to re-register then. This is the way we ensure that your details are kept up to date.
