Welcome to Newquay Tretherras School

We are pleased to welcome all athletes, teachers, officials and spectators for the 2009 English Schools' Athletic Association Schools' Cross Country Cup Finals.

The competition is for Junior (under 14) and Intermediate (under 16) age groups (ages as on 31st August 2010), and started with Round 1 during October, with over 850 schools throughout England competing against other local schools in their County. The leading teams from all the competitions held in each County then competed in one of 8 Regional Finals on 14th November. This National Final pits the leading 3 teams in each Region against each other. Teams comprise 6 athletes with the first 4 counting towards the points total. In the event of a tie on points, the team whose 4th counter finishes higher takes precedence.
