ENGLISH SCHOOLS' CROSS COUNTRY CUP FINAL

Leeds Grammar School : 3rd DECEMBER 2005

The Schools Cross Country Cup is a competition for school teams. All schools in England may enter a team in any or all age groups. The competition starts with local district events between 10 to 20 schools. The leading teams in each district then compete in regional finals. The top 3 teams from each region then compete in this Cup Final event.

The Cup Final was hosted this year by Leeds Grammar School who provided us with an interesting and sometimes muddy course on a damp but very enjoyable day. Our grateful thanks go to the Head Teacher and his Staff for making us all so very welcome.

The weather threatened to be wet and wild but thankfully the rain held off until the very end.
